Private lessons are the most effective way for a music student to advance in skill and understanding. Public school music programs are incredibly important, but no music director can address all of the particular needs of each individual student on a day-to-day basis in the rehearsal setting. The answer for any student who wants to excel in performing on their instrument is to take private lessons.

Dan Huffman offers private lessons on horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, and tuba. Lessons are scheduled either at your home or at the FANAFI Music studio in Mesa. Dan specializes in French horn, but he can also recommend other expert teachers on the other listed instruments (and woodwinds, too!).

60-minute lessons: $50.00 (at student's home $55.00)
30-minute lessons: $30.00 (at student's home $35.00)

Introductory lessons are offered at the rate of $25.00 and can be held either at your home or at FANAFI Music. Only one lesson will be offered at this special introductory rate! This is a great way for students and I to get to know each other a little bit, and discover what direction they want to take their music education, and to find out if we are a good fit for one another in private instruction.

Regular lessons are scheduled for one month, three month or 6 month periods. Payment is expected up front for the package you select. You may pay by cash, personal check or money order. All checks and money orders MUST be made out to Dan Huffman, NOT to FANAFI Music.

I will also be offering online courses in music theory for middle and high school students at Look for me there under my name, Dan Huffman.

PayPal payments are accepted through my email address, I can also accept Venmo and Cash app payments. Please let me know your preference at the time of the first lesson!
